Its official: the world’s sweetest mobile gaming platform has tapped into the world’s largest social platform (and yes, we do mean SCVNGR is now officially integrated with Facebook Places). Woot!

We’ve been programming away with the new Places API and working around the clock to integrate. Starting today, all the fun stuff you do on SCVNGR can be tied to physical locations, integrated with Facebook Places, and geo-shared with your friends on Facebook.

Also, all the happenin’ stuff around you at a Place on Facebook will be streamed back to your SCVNGR app. So basically…you’ll be socially “checked-in” everywhere you go (not to be confused with the “social check-in”).
