SCVNGR | Happy 2011 & What A Way To Start!

Happy 2011 SCVNGR players!

We hope you had a great new years and holiday season. We sure did! But, now the break is over and we’re all here at SCVNGR HQ back at work getting ready to make SCVNGR even better for you in 2011!

And to help us do that, we’ve just announced a great new partner joining our team to help us build the game layer on top of the world, bigger, better and faster. Barry Maloney from Balderton Capital is joining our board of directors. As you may have heard this morning from TechCrunch, Balderton has led a $15MM investment in SCVNGR.

Barry, the entire team at SCVNGR is so excited to have you and Balderton joining us. Welcome aboard! It’s going to be a great year!

And to everyone in the SCVNGR community. Firstly, a huge thank you is in order. We truly appreciate all you’ve done to help us grow so fast over the last year. And secondly, get excited, because we’re going to be bringing some more awesome your way.

Alright, that’s all I’ve got, now it’s time to get back to work. :-)
